Simpoh Air, Dillenia suffruticosa. The large leaves of the Simpoh Air can be used to wrap food such as tempeh (fermented soyabean cakes), or formed into shallow cones to contain traditional "fast food" such as rojak.
 
Fruits of Simpoh Air. The seeds are covered with red flesh.
 
Auntie Gloria said that the flower is edible. Look how delighted she was eating the petal.
